The purpose of these terms and conditions (the “Terms of use” or the "Terms") is to provid information regards our Terms of use, our Academy and Dojo rules and our site's privacy policy.

Please read these terms carefully before using the Site and participating in our classes. Approval of this terms is a condition to using this Site, for participate in our classes and using our services. If you do not agree to these Terms at any time, you should not access or use this Site.

We hereby grant you a limited right to access, view and use our Site and read the information, materials and documents on the Site (collectively defined as the “Content”) that we provide on our Site, solely for your personal, internal and non-commercial use, on condition that you comply with all your obligations under the following the Terms of use and all modifications thereto. Both parties hereby irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Vienna, Austria, to resolve any dispute arising out of these Terms or the use of this Site or our Academy or our Dojo or our classes or our services.

Academy and Dojo Rules

By signing up to our classes and/or by participating in our classes, you are agreeing with these terms and our Academy and Dojo rules. The terms "Dojo", "Academy", “BKM”, “us”, “we” or “our”, refers to BKM Krav Maga Academy & Dojo Vienna (also known as BKM Krav Maga Akademie & Dojo Wien), the owner of the Site, Academy and Dojo. The term "student" or "you" refers to BKM's members or students.

1. BKM membership: Membership in BKM involves a valid subscription. The subscription involves a monthly payment which shall paid in advance (here is a link for more information regarding our subscriptions). The subscription to BKM is personal and non-transferable. Entry to the Dojo is conditional on a valid and paid subscription. BKM has the sole discretion regarding the admission of students and terminate the connection between BKM and the student at any moment and at its own discretion. In case of such termination, the student will be given a proportional refund, for the period paid for but not yet exercised.

2. Cancellation: The student can cancel his/her subscription at any time in the validity period. In such a case, the student will be given a proportional refund, for the period paid for but not yet exercised.

3. Health declaration: By arriving at the Dojo and by participating in class, the student declares that he/she has no medical impediment preventing him/her from trainning.

4. Safety & Injuries: Our classes conducted in a safe environment with a family atmosphere in a well equipped dojo. Our trainings inherently involves contact and effort (the level of intensity varies, depending on the level of the student). The safety of the student and the professionalism of the training are at the forefront of our attention and we will not compromise on that. At the same time, and as mentioned above, the trainings involves contact and effort, and injuries, of all kinds, despite the great effort to prevent them, may occur. Therefore, you are aware that by participating in classes there is a chance of injury of various types and degrees.

5. Personal belongings: The Dojo is not responsible for the loss, damage or theft of personal equipment.

6. Hygiene: The Dojo makes an effort to provide the student with adequate and hygienic conditions for training. In order to maintain these conditions, you are asked to maintain personal hygiene and arrive the Dojo with suitable training clothes. Before entering the Dojo, the student is asked to take of his/her shoes and place them at the shoe stand. We train barefoot in all classes.

7. Registration: Entry to the classes is conditional on pre-registration using the Site's booking system. In the event of a change, the change must be updated through the booking system as mentioned.

8. Code of conduct in class: The student is asked to behave in a respectful manner.

9. Consent: The student declare that he/she have read these Terms and Conditions and Dojo Rules and that he/she agree to them. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and we may revise these Terms from time to time so please review it frequently. Your continued use of the site will be deemed to constitute your acceptance of any and all such changes. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the Site.
