Our Classes
Krav Maga is a comprehensive self-defense system and combat martial art. Originally developed from boxing and wrestling, it combines the most effective techniques from Boxing, Kickboxing, Judo, and Wrestling with unique defenses against armed attackers. Whether you are practicing for self-defense, general fitness, or as a high-energy contact sport, our system has you covered.
Our training program includes striking classes, grappling classes, weapon defense classes, and strength conditioning.
Striking classes.
During our striking classes, we teach the fundamental mechanics and execution of punches, elbows, knees, kicks, and defense. You will master range, footwork, head movement, blocking, slipping, rolling, and counter-striking.
Grappling classes.
In our grappling classes, you will practice the basics of close-quarters control, including takedowns, throws, trips, joint locks, chokes, and defense. We focus heavily on building strong balance, weight transfer, sweeps, escapes, and prevention.
Weapon classes.
During our weapon defense classes, you will learn practical defenses against knife and stick attacks while sharpening your situational awareness and survival instincts.
Our classes take place in a safe, welcoming, and family environment. We train in a fully equipped dojo, and our program is perfectly suitable for all ages, genders, and backgrounds.
What to Expect in Your First Class?
Walking into a martial arts school for the first time can feel intimidating, but we make sure your first experience is safe, encouraging, and rewarding. Here is what you can look forward to:
-
A Warm Welcome: When you arrive, you will meet Barak, he will guide you through the dojo and show you where to put your gear.
-
A Supportive Environment: You will never be thrown into the deep end. We train as a family, and our advanced students are always eager to help beginners learn the ropes.
-
The Warm-Up: We start every class with a functional warm-up designed to improve your mobility, heart rate, endurance, and overall coordination.
-
Practical, Hands-On Skills: You will dive right into the core principles of Krav Maga. We focus on natural body movements, basic striking, and simple, highly effective self-defense concepts.
-
Go at Your Own Pace: There is zero pressure to keep up with anyone else. Your only goal is to challenge yourself, have fun, and leave the mat safer and stronger than when you walked in.
What to Wear & Bring
-
Clothing: Comfortable athletic wear (a clean T-shirt and gym shorts or sweatpants). Avoid clothes with sharp zippers or pockets that can snag.
-
Hydration: A reusable water bottle to stay hydrated during breaks.

An Open Mind: No prior martial arts or fitness experience is required!
See you in class :)
